The weyer gruppe is a process-engineering and plant-safety group operating since 1976, with staff across Germany, Austria, Poland and Switzerland. Among its safety-analysis services it carries out risk analyses using the HAZOP method (Hazard and Operability Study, IEC 61882), known in German practice as the PAAG procedure, in which an interdisciplinary team systematically examines a planned or existing plant for deviations from intended operation. The group can provide an external HAZOP leader (Moderator) and scribe certified by BG RCI to organise, run and document the study and to help define and track resulting protective measures.
