USP Future Energies LLP is a New Delhi-based technical consultancy to the hydrocarbon industry, providing plant modelling and process simulation, process safety and loss prevention, process engineering and technical training. Formed in May 2025 from the energy division of USP Trading and Manufacturing (which launched the practice as USPEnergies in 2009), the firm has executed assignments in the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere, with partnerships in Europe and America. Its PHA lead facilitator and HAZOP chairman, Umesh Goel (MSc Applied Chemical Engineering, Chartered Engineer and Member of IChemE, with an IChemE-approved HAZOP team-leader course), independently conducts and leads all phases of process hazard reviews for oil & gas projects — HAZOPs from FEED and concept stage through EPC and construction/commissioning, SIL studies using LOPA and risk-graph methods, and pre-startup safety reviews. Representative work includes refinery-wide HAZOP revalidations and integrated HAZOP-and-SIL studies for major Indian refiners and petrochemical complexes. The firm also markets its SILPro tool and delivers HAZOP and process-simulation training.
