HAZOP.co.za is an independent HAZOP facilitation practice founded and owned by Jane Creaven, a professional engineer registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) with a BSc (Eng Chem) and GDE (Civil) from the University of the Witwatersrand and over 15 years facilitating HAZOP and related studies. Based in Johannesburg and operating across the African continent, the practice uses the Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) methodology supported by dedicated recording software to structure workshops, reduce study time and manage cost across a project's life cycle. Reported clients span oil, mining, rail and engineering, and the firm holds a 100% BBBEE Level 4 (EME) certification, so client spend counts as BEE spend.
